Summary

Label what you are studying, set focus and break lengths, and run repeating study sessions with a long break every few rounds and a log of what you finished.

How it works

  1. Type what you are studying into the subject/task field, or leave the default label.
  2. Set focus minutes, short break minutes, long break minutes, and how many sessions before a long break.
  3. Or click a preset to fill in a common pattern, then adjust any field as needed.
  4. Click Start; focus and break phases alternate automatically, with a long break every N sessions.
  5. Each completed focus session is added to the study log below with its subject label and duration.
  6. Pause anytime to freeze the countdown, or click Reset to clear the current run and start over.

Use cases

  • Run focused study blocks for an exam with breaks in between to avoid burnout.
  • Track time spent on separate subjects in one sitting by changing the label each round.
  • Keep a simple log of finished study sessions to review at the end of the day.
  • Use longer focus blocks for reading and shorter ones for flashcard drills, switching presets as needed.
  • Structure homework time into sprints with a visible session count and countdown.
  • Give a study group a shared rhythm of focus and break periods during a session.
