Summary
Count down to any future date and time or run a custom duration timer. Add an event title, share the link with others, and get an audio alert when the countdown reaches zero.
How it works
- Choose a mode: "Countdown to Date" to target a specific moment, or "Duration Timer" to count down a fixed number of hours, minutes, and seconds.
- Enter an event title (for example, "New Year 2027") and set the target date and time or the desired duration.
- Press Start. The large display shows Days, Hours, Minutes, and Seconds ticking down in real time. The tab title updates so you can monitor it from other tabs.
- To share the countdown with others, click Share Link. The URL encodes the target time and title so anyone who opens it sees the same countdown.
- When the timer reaches zero, an audio alarm sounds. Press Reset to start a new countdown.
Use cases
- Event planning: count down to a conference, wedding, or product launch and share the link with your team.
- Classroom: project a fullscreen countdown so students can see exactly how much time remains for a quiz or activity.
- Presentations: run a visible on-screen timer during a talk or workshop to keep sessions on schedule.
