Summary
Stay focused and productive using the Pomodoro Technique. Customize work and break durations, track your daily sessions, and get audio cues when it is time to switch.
How it works
- Set your desired focus and break durations in the Settings panel (defaults: 25 min focus, 5 min short break, 15 min long break).
- Press Start to begin your first focus session. The countdown ring and MM:SS display will start ticking down.
- When the timer reaches zero, a beep sounds and the timer automatically switches to a break. Press Start to begin the break.
- After the configured number of focus sessions (default 4), a long break is offered instead of a short break.
Use cases
- Studying: break long study sessions into focused 25-minute blocks to improve retention and reduce fatigue.
- Coding: use focused intervals to write features without distractions, then step away during breaks to avoid burnout.
- Deep work: protect high-concentration tasks from interruptions by committing to timed, distraction-free sprints.
