Summary
Run a Tabata-style interval workout with configurable work/rest durations and round count, plus start, pause, and reset controls.
How it works
- Set the work duration, rest duration, and number of rounds (defaults to the classic 20s/10s x 8).
- Click Start; a short "Get Ready" countdown gives you time to get into position.
- The timer alternates WORK and REST phases automatically, counting down each round.
- Pause anytime to freeze the countdown, then resume from the exact same point.
- When all rounds finish, the timer shows a completion message; click Reset to run it again.
Use cases
- Time high-intensity interval training (HIIT) sessions at the gym or at home.
- Run the classic Tabata protocol: 20 seconds work, 10 seconds rest, 8 rounds.
- Customize work, rest, and round count for circuit training, boxing rounds, or EMOM workouts.
- Use as a visual countdown during group fitness classes.
- Track round progress without checking a phone during a workout.
- Time interval-based tasks outside fitness, like structured study or cooking steps.
