How does DST get handled?

The converter uses the browser's built-in Intl.DateTimeFormat API, which automatically applies the correct Daylight Saving Time offset for every IANA time zone on the selected date. There is no manual DST toggle needed.

What does the UTC offset shown mean?

The offset (e.g., UTC+05:30) is the difference between that time zone and Coordinated Universal Time at the chosen date and time, including any DST adjustment in effect on that day.

Can I convert to more than five time zones at once?

Yes. You can add as many target zones as you like from the dropdown. Each one gets its own result card. Remove any zone by clicking the X on its chip in the target list.

Is anything sent to a server?

No. All conversion logic runs entirely in your browser using the JavaScript Intl API. No data is transmitted anywhere.

Why is my local time zone not in the list?

The list includes roughly 50 of the most commonly used IANA zones. The converter automatically detects and adds your browser's local zone as the default source, so it will always appear even if it is not in the preset list.
