Summary

Break your talk into named phases with a time budget each, then run a live timer that flags when you fall behind or run over.

How it works

  1. Edit the default phases or add your own, giving each a name and a duration in minutes and seconds.
  2. Click Start; the first phase counts down and the total budget is shown at the top of the settings panel.
  3. Click Next Phase whenever you finish a section, even if its timer has not reached zero yet.
  4. The pacing badge and time display switch between on track, behind schedule, and over time based on your actual progress.
  5. When the last phase is advanced, the timer shows a completion summary comparing total elapsed time to your budget.

Use cases

  • Rehearse a conference talk broken into intro, body sections, and Q&A.
  • Keep a webinar on schedule across an agenda with multiple speakers.
  • Time a thesis defense or oral exam with fixed sections and a strict total limit.
  • Run a sales pitch with separate discovery, demo, and pricing segments.
  • Pace a classroom lecture through topic sections within a class period.
  • Time a wedding toast or ceremony speech across written sections.
