Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. All flipping is performed entirely in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your images never leave your device.

What is the difference between horizontal and vertical flip?

Horizontal flip mirrors the image along the vertical axis, swapping left and right. Vertical flip mirrors it along the horizontal axis, swapping top and bottom.

Can I apply both flips at once?

Yes. Enabling both toggles simultaneously applies a full point reflection, which is equivalent to a 180-degree rotation combined with no flip — but implemented as two independent canvas scale operations.

Will the output be the same size as the original?

Yes. Flipping does not change the image dimensions. The canvas output is always the same width and height as the source image.

Which output formats are supported?

You can download as PNG (lossless, preserves transparency) or JPEG (smaller file, quality adjustable via the slider).
