Does this upload my EPUB file to a server?

No. All processing happens locally in your browser using the JSZip JavaScript library. Your file never leaves your device.

What does the "slide outline" contain?

Each slide entry contains a title (the chapter heading or file name) and up to five bullet points extracted from the first sentences of that chapter. You can edit them in PowerPoint after pasting.

How do I paste the outline into PowerPoint?

Open PowerPoint, go to View > Outline, click in the outline pane, and paste. Each "Slide N:" line becomes a new slide title and the indented lines become bullet points. In Google Slides, you can paste into a blank slide's text box and reformat.

What EPUB versions are supported?

Both EPUB 2 and EPUB 3 are supported. The tool reads the OPF package file to determine spine order and finds all chapter HTML/XHTML files accordingly.

Why does a chapter show no bullet points?

Some chapters contain only images or very short text. In those cases the tool shows the title only. You can add bullet points manually in PowerPoint.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no hard limit. Very large EPUB files (over 50 MB) may take a few seconds to parse. A progress indicator is shown while the file is being processed.
