Are images in the EPUB included in the PDF?

This tool extracts text content only. Embedded images inside the EPUB are not included in the output PDF.

Why does the PDF show only plain text without the original formatting?

EPUBs use HTML/CSS for rich layout, but fully replicating that layout in PDF requires a browser rendering engine. This tool extracts the readable text and presents it clearly, which covers the main use case of making the content accessible as a PDF.

What EPUB versions are supported?

EPUB 2 and EPUB 3 are both supported. The tool reads the OPF package document to determine the spine order regardless of EPUB version.

The conversion finished but the PDF seems short — why?

Some EPUBs contain mostly images or heavily JavaScript-driven content with very little raw text. In those cases only a small amount of text can be extracted.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no enforced limit, but very large EPUBs (over 50 MB) may take longer to process depending on your device. The tool will show progress so you can monitor it.
