Are images from the EPUB included in the HTML output?

This tool extracts text content only. Embedded images inside the EPUB are not included in the output HTML file.

What EPUB versions are supported?

Both EPUB 2 and EPUB 3 are supported. The tool reads the OPF package document to determine spine order regardless of EPUB version.

Why does the output HTML look plain without the original styling?

EPUBs use their own internal CSS. This tool generates a clean, readable HTML document with basic formatting rather than attempting to replicate the original EPUB stylesheet.

The output HTML seems short — why?

Some EPUBs contain mostly images or JavaScript-driven content with very little raw text. In those cases only a small amount of text can be extracted.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no enforced limit. Very large EPUBs (over 50 MB) may take longer to process depending on your device. Progress is shown so you can monitor it.
