How is weighted GPA calculated?

Each course grade is converted to grade points (A=4.0, B=3.0, C=2.0, D=1.0, F=0.0). Quality points equal grade points times credit hours. Weighted GPA is the sum of quality points divided by total credit hours.

Can I enter a percentage instead of a letter grade?

Yes. Enter a number like 87 and it will be converted to a letter grade automatically using the standard scale (90–100 = A, 80–89 = B, 70–79 = C, 60–69 = D, below 60 = F).

What does a 4.0 GPA mean?

A 4.0 GPA is the highest possible on the standard scale and corresponds to straight A grades across all courses.

Does credit hours affect my GPA?

Yes. Courses with more credit hours carry more weight. A B in a 4-credit course contributes more to your GPA than a B in a 1-credit course.

Is a plus/minus grading scale supported?
