Does this upload my HTML to a server?

No. The entire conversion happens in your browser using the docx.js JavaScript library. Your HTML content never leaves your device.

Which HTML elements are supported?

Headings (H1–H6), paragraphs, bold (strong/b), italic (em/i), underline (u), ordered and unordered lists (ol/ul/li), table rows and cells (table/tr/td/th), and line breaks (br). CSS styles and images are not reproduced — only semantic structure is preserved.

Will images appear in the Word document?

No. Images are skipped. Only text-based content is converted. For image embedding, use the JPG to Word tool.

What version of Word can open the generated file?

The .docx file uses the standard OOXML format compatible with Microsoft Word 2007 and later, LibreOffice Writer, and Google Docs.

Is there a size limit on the HTML I can paste?

There is no hard limit. Very large HTML pages may take a moment to process. For best results, paste only the relevant content section rather than a full page with scripts and navigation.

Can I customize fonts or page margins?

The document uses Calibri 11pt as the body font with standard Word margins. Heading sizes follow default Word heading styles (H1 = 28pt bold, descending by level).
