What is the formula for attendance percentage?

Attendance Percentage = (Classes Attended ÷ Total Classes Held) × 100. For example, if you attended 45 out of 60 classes, your attendance is 75%.

How many classes do I need to attend to reach 75%?

If you have attended A classes out of T total, you need to attend at least ceil((0.75 × T − A) / (1 − 0.75)) additional classes in a row to hit 75%, assuming no more absences. This tool calculates that automatically.

Can I calculate a custom target percentage other than 75%?

Yes. You can set any target percentage between 1% and 100% in the Target field. Common values are 75%, 80%, and 85%.

What if my attendance is already above the target?

The tool will show how many classes you can still miss while remaining above the target percentage, assuming all future eligible classes count toward the total.

Why does the required classes count seem high?
