What size should my source image be?

A square PNG or JPG of at least 1024×1024 px works best. Smaller images still generate a full size set, but the largest icons will be upscaled and may look soft.

What if my image is not square?

The tool automatically center-crops the longer side down to a square before generating icons, so rectangular photos still produce correctly proportioned icons.

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. The image is read and resized locally using the Canvas API. Nothing is uploaded, and the ZIP is built and downloaded entirely in your browser.

Which sizes are included?

iOS covers App Store (1024) down to the 20px notification icon across iPhone and iPad. Android covers the Play Store icon (512) and all five launcher mipmap densities (mdpi through xxxhdpi).

Do the icons include rounded corners or masking?

No. Icons are exported as flat square PNGs. iOS and Android both apply corner masking automatically at the OS level, so a pre-masked icon would be double-clipped.
