What is the 90/180-day Schengen rule?

The Schengen rule limits visitors to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period across all Schengen Area countries. It is not a fixed calendar block — the window rolls daily, so the count always looks back 180 days from today.

What counts as a "day" in the Schengen zone?

Both the entry day and the exit day count as full days spent in the zone. For example, arriving on June 1 and leaving on June 10 counts as 10 days, not 9.

I am currently inside the zone — how does the calculator handle that?

If you leave the "Exit date" field blank for your current trip, the calculator treats today as the provisional exit date to show your current usage.

Can I use this for non-Schengen countries?

Yes. Use the custom window option to enter any allowed days and rolling period. For example, UK visitors are typically allowed 180 days in any 12-month period.

Does this tool store my travel data?

No data is sent to any server. Everything runs in your browser. You can optionally save your trips to localStorage so they persist across sessions.

When will my day count reset?

The tracker shows the earliest future date on which at least one day will "drop off" the rolling window, giving you more room. It also shows the date your count reaches zero days used.
