How many bundles of shingles are in a square?

It depends on the shingle type. Standard 3-tab shingles use 3 bundles per square (100 sq ft). Architectural (dimensional) shingles use 3 bundles per square as well, though some brands require 4. What is a roofing square?

How do I measure roof pitch?
