Is my packing slip data uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything you type stays in your browser. The PDF is generated locally using the pdf-lib library, and nothing is sent to any server.

What is the difference between a packing slip and an invoice?

A packing slip lists what is physically in the shipment, such as SKU, description, and quantities. It does not show prices or payment totals. An invoice is a billing document requesting payment. Use this tool for shipment contents only.

How is this different from the travel packing list tool?

This tool builds a logistics document for e-commerce and warehouse shipments, listing shipped products with SKU and quantities. The travel packing list tool is a personal checklist for what to pack in a suitcase, unrelated to shipping orders.

Can I show a partial shipment on the packing slip?

Yes. Enter a different quantity shipped than quantity ordered for any item, and the preview and PDF will flag it as backordered so the recipient knows what to expect later.

Do I need a tracking number to generate a packing slip?

No. Carrier and tracking number are optional fields. Leave them blank if you do not have that information yet.

Can I add more than one page of items?

Yes. Add as many line items as you need. If the list runs past one page, the PDF automatically continues onto additional pages.
