Is my photo uploaded to a server?

No. Cropping, resizing, and background replacement all happen in your browser using the Canvas API. Your photo never leaves your device.

Which sizes are included?

US passport/visa (2x2 in), a 35x45mm size used by the EU, UK, India, and many other countries, China visa/resident permit (33x48mm), Canada passport/PR card (50x70mm), a square 1x1 in badge photo, and a custom millimeter size for anything else.

How does the background color swap work?

The tool samples the color at the four corners of your cropped photo and replaces pixels close to that color with your chosen background. It works best when your original photo already has a plain, even-colored background.

What is the print sheet feature?

It tiles as many copies of your cropped photo as fit onto a standard 4x6 inch sheet at 300 DPI, so you can print multiple copies at once instead of one at a time.

Will this guarantee my photo is accepted by an agency?

The tool matches size, DPI, and background color, but acceptance also depends on lighting, expression, and print quality, which you should verify against the specific requirements of the agency you are applying to.

What image formats can I upload?

JPEG, PNG, and WebP are all supported. The downloaded photo and print sheet are exported as PNG files.
