SV% = Saves / (Saves + Goals Allowed), which is the same as Saves / Shots Faced. A goalie who faces 30 shots and allows 3 goals made 27 saves, for a save percentage of 27 / 30 = .900.

What counts as a good save percentage in the NHL?

In recent NHL seasons, a save percentage above .920 is considered elite, .910 to .919 is very good, .900 to .909 is roughly league average, and anything below .900 is considered below average for a full-time starter.

Can I combine stats from more than one game?

What is the difference between shots faced and saves?
