Summary

Enter 3–20 score differentials to estimate a Handicap Index with the World Handicap System (WHS) Rule 5.2 table.

How it works

  1. Enter each score differential (Adjusted Gross Score minus Course Rating, divided by Slope Rating, multiplied by 113) for your recent rounds.
  2. The WHS lookup table determines how many of your lowest differentials to use based on the total number you enter.
  3. The selected lowest differentials are averaged.
  4. For 3, 4, or 6 differentials, the Rule 5.2 table adjustment is applied.
  5. The result is rounded to the nearest tenth and capped at the maximum 54.0.
