No. Everything runs inside your browser using JSZip and pdf-lib. Your file is never sent to any server, making this completely private.

Will images from the EPUB appear in the PDF?

This tool produces a text-only PDF. Images embedded in the EPUB are not included. The focus is on preserving the readable text content of each chapter.

Why does my EPUB show no content?

Some EPUBs use DRM (Digital Rights Management) encryption, which prevents client-side extraction. DRM-protected files cannot be processed by any browser-based tool.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no hard limit imposed by this tool. Very large EPUBs may take a few extra seconds since all processing runs in your browser tab.

Are chapter titles preserved?

Yes. The tool reads the EPUB spine and uses each chapter's document title or filename as a section heading in the PDF output.
