Is my email address or message sent to a server?

No. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser using a client-side library. The recipient, subject, and body never leave your device.

What happens when someone scans the code?

Their phone camera detects the mailto: link and offers to open it in the default email app, with the recipient, subject, and body fields already filled in.

Do I need to fill in the subject and body?

No. Only the recipient email address is required. Subject and body are optional and can be left blank.

Can I add more than one recipient?

Enter multiple addresses separated by commas in the recipient field. Most email apps will populate all of them in the "To" field.

Can I print the QR code?
