Summary
Enter your opponents' ratings and game results to instantly calculate your tournament performance rating (TPR).
How it works
- Add each opponent by entering their Elo rating and selecting your result (Win, Draw, or Loss).
- The tool lists all games and shows a running summary of your score.
- Click "Calculate Performance Rating" to compute your TPR.
- Your average opponent rating and score percentage are calculated first.
- The FIDE rating differential table is used to convert your percentage score to a performance rating offset.
- The final performance rating = average opponent rating + differential offset.
Use cases
- Evaluate your overall performance at a rated chess tournament.
- Compare your TPR to your current rating to see if you over- or under-performed.
- Estimate expected rating gain or loss before official FIDE calculations are published.
- Track performance ratings across multiple tournaments to spot trends.
- Assess the strength of the field you played against.
- Use as a coaching tool to set realistic performance targets.
