How is the age in days calculated?

The calculator finds the difference between your birth date and the target date (default: today) in milliseconds, then converts that value to whole days, weeks, months, hours, and minutes. Months are computed as calendar months plus remaining days.

Does it account for leap years?

Yes. The calculation is based on the actual calendar difference between the two dates, so all leap days are automatically included in the total day count.

Can I calculate age between two dates other than today?

Yes. Simply pick any target date using the "Target date" field. The calculator works for past or future dates.

Why might my age in months differ from my common age?

The months value shown is the total elapsed calendar months, which may be one less than your "birthday age" if your birthday has not yet occurred in the current month of the target date.

Is my birth date stored or sent anywhere?
