What is an XML sitemap?

How many URLs can I add?

What does "priority" mean?

What does "changefreq" mean?

Change frequency (changefreq) tells crawlers how often a page is likely to change — from "always" to "never". This is also a hint, not a guarantee that crawlers will follow it.

Is the generated sitemap submitted automatically?

No. You download the file and upload it to your web server root (e.g. https://example.com/sitemap.xml), then submit the URL in Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools.

Does this tool store my URLs?
