What is the difference between Article, NewsArticle, and BlogPosting?

All three extend schema.org's CreativeWork type. Article is the broadest type. NewsArticle is for time-sensitive journalism published by a news organization. BlogPosting is specifically for entries in a blog. Google treats them similarly for most rich result eligibility, so choose the one that best describes your content.

Which fields are required by Google?
