How it works
- Paste your plain-text transcript into the input box.
- Set the start time (default 00:00:00) and choose an interval mode.
- In "Seconds per line" mode each non-blank line gets its own timestamp.
- In "Words per interval" mode lines are grouped until the word count threshold is reached.
- Click "Generate Timestamps" to preview the result.
- Copy or download the timestamped transcript with one click.
Use cases
- Format podcast or interview transcripts for show notes.
- Add timestamps to meeting notes before uploading to a wiki.
- Prepare timestamped captions for video editors.
- Break lecture notes into timed segments for study guides.
- Generate rough SRT-style timestamps for subtitle review.
