Summary

Look up what any UTR score means and estimate win probability between two players based on their rating difference.

How it works

  1. The UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) system scores players on a 1–16 scale based on match results.
  2. Enter any UTR value (1.00–16.00) in the Level Lookup tab to see what that rating means and what level player it represents.
  3. Use the Win Probability tab to enter ratings for Player A and Player B — the tool estimates win odds using a logistic model calibrated to UTR rating differences.
  4. A 1-point UTR difference translates to roughly a 70% win probability for the higher-rated player.
  5. The tool is fully client-side; no data is sent anywhere.

Use cases

  • Understand where you stand relative to other players before entering a tournament.
  • Estimate how competitive a match will be before scheduling it.
  • Help coaches explain the UTR system to new players.
  • Compare rating differences when evaluating potential practice partners.
