Is the download a real TIFF file?

Yes. The tool writes a baseline little-endian TIFF with uncompressed 8-bit RGBA pixel data and an unassociated alpha channel. The PNG data URL used for the on-page preview is not the downloaded file.

What scale should I use for print?
