What is review schema markup?

Review schema (JSON-LD) is structured data embedded in your HTML that tells search engines about ratings and reviews on your page. Google can use it to display star ratings directly in search results, known as rich results or rich snippets.

Will adding schema automatically show stars in Google?

Not guaranteed. Google decides whether to display rich results based on its own quality signals. Schema markup makes your page eligible, but the stars only appear if Google trusts the content and the page meets its review snippet policies.

What item types are supported?

This tool supports Product, LocalBusiness, and Service — the three most common types used for review rich results. Each maps to the corresponding schema.org type in the JSON-LD output.

Where do I paste the generated code?

Paste the entire <script type="application/ld+json"> block anywhere in your HTML, ideally inside the <head> tag or near the top of <body>. One schema block per page is standard practice.

Can I add multiple individual reviews?

Yes. Use the "Add Another Review" button to include up to 5 individual Review entries. Each review adds an author name, date, rating, and body text to the schema.

Is this tool free and does it store my data?

Completely free. All processing happens in your browser — no data is sent to any server and nothing is stored.
