How do I format the flashcard list?

One card per line, with the term first, then a pipe character "|", then the definition, for example: Capital of France | Paris. Lines without a pipe character are skipped.

How do I print so the fronts and backs line up?

The PDF places all front pages first, followed by the matching back pages in the same order. Print double-sided using your printer's "flip on long edge" or "long-edge binding" duplex option, which is the standard setting for portrait pages.

What if my printer only prints one side at a time?

Print the whole PDF, then reload the front pages back into the tray in the same order and print the back pages on the reverse side. Print one test page first to confirm the paper orientation before running the full set.

What card sizes are available?

Large gives 4 cards per page, Standard gives 6 cards per page, and Compact gives 12 cards per page. All three fit a US Letter page with equal margins and cut guide lines.

Is there a limit to how many flashcards I can make?

No hard limit. The PDF adds as many page pairs as needed to fit every card you enter, generated locally with the pdf-lib library.

Is my flashcard content uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything you type stays in your browser, and the PDF is built locally. Nothing is sent to a server.
