Summary

Compare parfum, EDP, EDT, EDC, and splash by oil percentage and longevity, or estimate concentration from your blend inputs.

How it works

  1. Browse the concentration reference table to compare all five fragrance types.
  2. Click any row to highlight and read the full description for that concentration.
  3. Switch to the Blend Estimator tab and enter your oil volume, alcohol volume, and water volume.
  4. The estimator calculates your oil percentage and maps it to the matching concentration type.
  5. Use the result to decide whether to increase or dilute your fragrance oil.

Use cases

  • Decide whether to buy a parfum or EDP based on longevity needs.
  • Understand why your DIY perfume fades faster than a commercial fragrance.
  • Estimate the concentration of a homemade blend before bottling.
  • Compare projection (sillage) across types before applying to skin.
  • Learn the difference between EDC and EDT for light daytime wear.
  • Verify a commercial bottle's concentration claim matches its listed type.
