Summary

Enter up to 8 paint colors with their ratio parts, set a total batch volume, and get the exact amount of each color to pour — plus coverage area.

How it works

  1. Add each paint color and enter its ratio part (e.g. 2 for "2 parts").
  2. Set your desired total batch volume and choose a unit (mL, L, fl oz, cups, quarts, or gallons).
  3. Optionally enter the coverage rate (sq ft or m² per unit) of your paint.
  4. The calculator divides the total volume proportionally across all colors.
  5. Results show the volume of each color to measure out, plus estimated coverage area.

Use cases

  • Mixing a custom wall color from two or more base paints in an exact ratio.
  • Scaling a small test blend up to a full gallon or larger batch.
  • Checking whether you have enough mixed paint to cover a room.
  • Recreating a previously mixed tint from written ratio notes.
  • Blending primer and tinted paint at a specific ratio for a base coat.
  • Splitting a large batch of tinted paint into the right proportions for touch-ups.
