Yes. Even a simple Word+Number+Symbol pattern yields 40+ bits of entropy when drawn from a large word list with a random 2-digit number and one of several symbols. Longer patterns push well above 60 bits.

Are the passwords sent to a server?

No. All generation happens entirely in your browser using the Web Crypto API. Nothing is transmitted anywhere.
