How it works
- Add each strike price and its call and put open interest using the row inputs.
- The calculator sums the total in-the-money dollar value at every strike you entered.
- For each candidate strike it computes: (sum of call OI × max(0, candidate − strike)) + (sum of put OI × max(0, strike − candidate)).
- The strike with the lowest total ITM dollar value is the max pain price.
