Summary
This on-screen emoji keyboard loads the complete Unicode emoji list (Emoji 18.0, 1,923 emoji in the 9 standard groups from Smileys & Emotion to Flags) and shows each one under its CLDR short name, the same name phones and operating systems use. Search matches names and CLDR keywords, so "lol" finds 😂 and "yes" finds 👍. A skin tone picker switches all 332 emoji that have skin tone variants to light, medium-light, medium, medium-dark or dark. Click an emoji to copy it and add it to the message box; recently used emoji are kept in your browser only. Emoji newer than your device's emoji font are hidden by default (they would show as boxes) and can be shown with one click; they still copy correctly.
How it works
- Type a word in the search box (for example heart, cat or lol) or click a category tab.
- Pick a skin tone above the grid if you want hands and people in a different tone.
- Click any emoji to copy it to your clipboard; it is also added to the message box.
- Use Backspace to remove the last emoji, or Clear to start over.
- Click Copy Message to copy the whole message, then paste it into your chat, post or document.
- Your recently used emoji appear at the top next time (stored only in this browser).
