How it works

  1. Enter the solid-vapor surface tension (γSV) in mN/m.
  2. Enter the solid-liquid interfacial tension (γSL) in mN/m.
  3. Enter the liquid-vapor surface tension (γLV) in mN/m.
  4. The calculator applies Young's equation: cos θ = (γSV − γSL) / γLV.
