The generator includes approximately 200 curated names spanning six origin groups. Each name includes its meaning, origin, and gender so you can make an informed choice.

Are the meanings and origins accurate?

Meanings and origins are sourced from established etymology references and are accurate to the best of our knowledge. Some names appear across multiple cultures with slightly different forms.

Does the tool save my favorites permanently?

Favorites are stored in your browser's localStorage. They persist between visits on the same device and browser, but are not synced across devices and will be lost if you clear your browser data.

What does the length filter mean?

Short names have 1-4 letters, Medium names have 5-7 letters, and Long names have 8 or more letters.
