How it works

  1. Enter your engine displacement in liters or cubic inches.
  2. Enter the engine speed (RPM) at which you want to evaluate efficiency.
  3. Enter the actual air mass flow measured by a MAF sensor or flow bench (in g/s or lb/min).
  4. Select ambient air density or enter a custom value for your altitude/temperature.
  5. The calculator computes theoretical airflow and divides actual by theoretical to get VE%.
