What range do RGB values use?

Each channel (R, G, B) accepts an integer from 0 to 255. Values outside that range are clamped automatically.

Does the output include the # symbol?

Yes. The output is formatted as #RRGGBB, ready to paste into CSS or design tools.

This tool works with whole-number 0-255 values. For CSS percentage notation, convert percentages to 0-255 first.

Both notations represent the same color. Modern CSS accepts space-separated values; the HEX output is identical either way.
