Is this truly random?

Yes. We use the browser's crypto.getRandomValues API, which draws from a cryptographically secure entropy source — not the deterministic Math.random function. This means results are suitable for security-sensitive use cases such as raffle draws and key generation.

What is the difference between Unique Picks and Lottery mode?

Both modes draw numbers without replacement from a range. Unique Picks lets you set any min and max and choose how many numbers to draw. Lottery mode always draws from 1 to N and lets you specify K picks, mirroring common lottery formats.

What does including or excluding bounds mean?

When bounds are included (the default), the minimum and maximum values can appear in your results. When bounds are excluded, the generated numbers are strictly between the min and max, so neither endpoint can be returned.

How long is the history kept?

The last 10 generations are stored in your browser's localStorage. They persist across page reloads until you clear your browser data or use the Clear History button.
