Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens entirely in your browser using the pdf-lib library. Your file never leaves your device.

Which metadata fields can I edit?

You can view and edit Title, Author, Subject, Keywords, and Creator. The Producer and creation/modification dates are shown as read-only information.

No. Metadata is stored separately from page content. Editing it has no effect on text, images, or formatting.

Blank fields mean the original PDF had no value for that property. You can type a value to add it or leave it blank to keep it empty.

Encrypted PDFs may fail to load. Remove the password protection first using a PDF unlock tool before editing metadata.
