Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. All cropping runs entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Your file never leaves your device.

What unit are the crop values in?

You can enter values in points (pt, the native PDF unit) or inches (in). One inch equals 72 points. Toggle the unit with the dropdown next to the inputs.

Does cropping delete the hidden content?

PDF cropping adjusts the media and crop box, which hides the trimmed area from viewers. The underlying content is still in the file structure. Use this tool to visually trim borders and whitespace.

Can I crop each page differently?

The current tool applies the same margins to all pages. For per-page control, apply the crop, re-upload, and adjust again.

What if my margin values are too large?

The tool validates that the resulting crop box is at least 10 x 10 points. If the values would produce a degenerate box, an error is shown and the download is blocked.
