Pantone colors are formulated inks that can represent colors outside the sRGB gamut. The HEX value is the closest sRGB equivalent, not an exact match.

How close is the approximation?

For most Pantone colors the delta-E is under 5, which is acceptable for most digital use. Neon and metallic Pantones differ significantly.

Which Pantone library is covered?
