Where does the exchange rate come from?

The price box is pre-filled with the latest ETH price from our rate table, which takes CoinGecko prices every hour and converts them to EUR with daily mid-market reference rates. The line under the box shows when that price was last updated. Exchanges quote slightly different prices, so type your exchange's price over it when you need the exact figure.

Is this calculation accurate?

The math is exact: EUR = ETH × rate. Accuracy depends entirely on the rate you enter. Always use a fresh rate for critical calculations.

Can I convert EUR back to ETH?

Yes. Click the Swap button to switch modes. EUR = ETH × rate becomes ETH = EUR ÷ rate.

Does the tool store my data?
