Duke Treadmill Score Calculator

Enter exercise time, ST deviation, and angina index from a treadmill stress test to get the Duke Treadmill Score and cardiovascular risk category.

Stress Test Inputs

Total duration completed on the treadmill (Bruce protocol).

Maximum ST-segment depression or elevation observed (absolute value).

Chest pain experienced during the test.

Enter your stress test values and click Calculate to see the Duke Treadmill Score.

Summary

Enter exercise time, ST deviation, and angina index from a treadmill stress test to get the Duke Treadmill Score and cardiovascular risk category.

How it works

  1. Enter the total exercise time in minutes completed during the treadmill stress test.
  2. Input the maximum ST-segment deviation in millimeters (elevation or depression) observed during or after exercise.
  3. Select the angina index: 0 if no angina occurred, 1 if non-limiting angina, or 2 if angina was the reason the test was stopped.
  4. The calculator applies the Duke formula: Score = Exercise Time − (5 × ST Deviation) − (4 × Angina Index).
  5. Your score is displayed along with the corresponding risk category (low, moderate, or high) and estimated 5-year survival rate.
