How it works
- Select a root note from the 12 chromatic pitches (C through B, including sharps).
- Choose a scale type: major, natural minor, harmonic minor, melodic minor, pentatonic major, pentatonic minor, blues, or any of the 7 modes.
- The tool applies the correct interval pattern (whole steps and half steps) to build the scale from the root.
